[IGDA-NYC-announce] NYC IGDA drink night: Saturday, July 19th!

What? A month has gone by already?  According to my calendar it has, so it
seems like it's time for another IGDA drink night at No Idea!
 
There's been some back-and-forth about whether these events should be
scheduled on weeknights or on weekends.  The opinions seems divided on the
subject, so in the interests of both I've decided to alternate.  Last month
we had our drink night during the week, so this time around we'll have it on
a Saturday.  More specifically, Saturday the 19th of July.  Ironically
enough, Saturday nights tend to be less crowded than weeknights.
 
So what is the NYC IGDA drink night?  In a nutshell, it's an unofficial
gathering of NYC and NYC area game developers.  We hang out, have a few
drinks, and chat about games or whathaveyou.  It's a great way to meet other
game developers working in New York, from total newbies to grizzled
veterans.  Whether you are a designer, a programmer, an artist, or just have
a passing interest in the field, all are welcome.
 
As usual, we'll be meeting at 7pm at No Idea Bar (HYPERLINK
"http://www.noideabar.com"www.noideabar.com) on 20th street between Park and
Broadway.  We'll be gathering in the back room.  Look for me (Dave), who
will be wandering around with a Wadjet Eye Games cap on.  Hope to see you
