[IGDA-NYC-announce] Reminder: IGDA NYC Picnic this Saturday!

Greetings Everyone!

This is just a friendly reminder that the annual IGDA NYC Picnic is this
Saturday, August 1st at the Heckscher Field Picnic Area in Central Park. So
come on out and join us for some fun in the sun!

The IGDA is going to be supplying the basics, (ie. sandwiches, salads, and
beverages) however what is a picnic without some treats! We are encouraging
everyone to pitch in and bring along something to share with the group.
Something as simple as a bottle of 2 liter soda, a bag of chips, or a box of
cookies are just a few ideas. That said, nothing says picnic like something
homemade so if you would like to make and share please feel more than
welcome. Just remember to bring any utensils you'll need to serve it.

As of right now, the forecast is looking great for Saturday with a partly
cloudy sky and temperatures in the mid 80's. The Come Out & Play folks will
also be running one of their big games, so this is a great opportunity to
get out and mingle with some of your local peers. :-)

We're also asking everyone to RSVP for this event so that we can best
