[IGDA-NYC-announce] Reminder: IGDA NYC Picnic Tomorrow!

Greetings Everyone!

This is the final reminder that the IGDA NYC Picnic is tomorrow afternoon
from 2pm - 6pm at the Heckscher Field Picnic Area in Central Park. Although
it's been kind of rainy today, the weather forecast for tomorrow is looking
to be perfect for our picnic festivities with sunny skies and an
estimated high of 86 degrees. Here's a link to the weather forecast:

To help you find us, when you arrive keep an eye out for a large group of
people with a collection of various balloons and a bunch of giant

As for food, the IGDA is going to be supplying the basics, (ie.
the delicious sandwiches mentioned previously, salads, and beverages)
however what is a picnic without some treats? We are encouraging everyone to
pitch in and bring along something to share with the group. Some ideas
include fruit or veggie platters, cupcakes, pretzels, and juice/punch. That
said, nothing says picnic like something homemade so if you would like to
make and share please feel more than welcome. Just remember to bring any
utensils you'll need to serve it.

As an additional note, The Come Out & Play folks will also be running one of
their big games, so this is a great opportunity to get out and mingle with
some of your local peers and have some fun. :-)
